Insurance:
We provide two types of insurance coverage for your vehicle:
1.Total Loss: You will be covered for the full amount that you choose to insure for with zero deductible. In the event of the boat sinking, theft of the vehicle at the ports on either end or any permanent loss to the vehicle while in our possession.
2.Full Coverage: This covers you against damages, scratches. This type of insurance costs 1.5% of the value given to us and has a deductible of $500.00. Vehicle Title:
US Customs requires original title to ship your vehicle. If a bank or a credit union still owns your vehicle, you must present your order to the bank or credit institution and obtain written authorization to export your vehicle, a notarized original letter authorizing to ship your vehicle out of the country as well as three certified copies of the title front and back. Personal Belongings:
Some containerized shipments permit the packing of personal goods into the vehicle. You may not leave any alcohol, oil, acids, batteries or any other material that may constitute hazard.We are not inspecting content of each vehicle, therefore client understands that no valuables should be left inside and MTI, Inc does not carry any liability in case your items may disappear. Please keep your gas tank at 1/4 of a tank or less. For safety, full tanks will be emptied. Arrival details:
Arrival times are estimated and are not guaranteed. Most times we are able to give you expected arrival dates, but sometimes due to custom delays or ships canceling their departures or in the event of there not being enough freight available for consolidated shipments, delays can occur. However, we are usually on target. No refunds or deductions in price will be entertained due to these reasons. Consolidations (shared container service) is based on availability of at least 2-3 vehicles going to the same destination therefore arrival dates will be confirmed once container sails. THE PRICES QUOTED EXCLUDE CLEARING CHARGES AT PORT OF DESTINATION. PLEASE CONTACT THE DESTINATION AGENT OR CARRIER?S PORT AGENT TO CLARIFY YOUR COSTS AT DESTINATION AND PROPER IMPORT DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS.
